Born from both personal experience and community surveys, SolBand began as an idea to make UV awareness effortless. I realized that many people, myself included, rarely think about how long they’ve been exposed to the sun, or when it might become unsafe. SolBand aims to change that by combining design, engineering, and health awareness into a wearable that monitors UV exposure in real time.

While still a concept, SolBand is an idea I hope to carry into university, where I’ll have the technical tools, mentorship, and design resources to turn it into a real product.
